The problem

Your photos are saved. But they are not really accessible.

iPhone storage fills up

You delete apps, clear chats, and still your gallery wins. Every photo and video eats the one thing you cannot buy more of.

iCloud scales your bill

The bigger your memories get, the more you pay every month. Storage that grows with your life should not cost like a subscription addiction.

SSDs become invisible

Cheap storage is great — until your archive disappears from your daily life. A drive in a drawer is a museum, not a library.

How it works

Silo turns your Mac or drive into a living photo library.

01

Connect your drive

Plug your SSD, HDD, or Mac Photos library into Silo. It indexes photos, videos, screenshots, metadata, OCR and transcripts locally.

02

Sync lightweight previews

Your iPhone gets small, beautiful previews — not the heavy originals. A 1.1 TB archive becomes a 33 GB searchable gallery.

03

Ask your library

Search naturally: places, people descriptions, text inside images, spoken moments in videos. Like chatting with your own memories.

Years of photos, videos, and archives. All browsable from your phone, no matter how large the library.

Compare

Not iCloud. Not a NAS. Not another gallery app.

iCloud

Great for sync. Becomes a monthly bill that never stops growing.

External SSD

Cheap storage. Invisible from your phone the moment you unplug it.

NAS

Powerful. Too technical for normal users. Another hobby, not a product.
